When you fill out a form on our website (contact, contractor, delivery inquiry, or newsletter signup), we collect:

- IP address (automatically captured from form submissions for security and fraud prevention)

Credit Applications and Quote Requests
Our online credit applications are forms provided by Jotform and shown on our credit application pages. Information you enter in them, which can include business, banking, and personal identification details, is collected and stored by Jotform for WBC. Our product quote request forms are provided by Typeform and work the same way. These forms are subject to Jotform's and Typeform's own privacy policies, linked below.
Employment Applications
When you submit an online employment application, we collect the contact, address, work-availability, education, skills, qualifications, and employment-history information you choose to provide. We use this information to evaluate your application for employment with Western Building Center.
Online employment applications are stored in WBC's access-controlled Supabase system. Resend sends two emails for each application: a notification to WBC staff, which includes the full application you submitted, and a receipt to you, which includes only your receipt number, the position, and the location. Analytics, advertising pixels, and session-recording tools are disabled on the online application and confirmation pages.
You may email a résumé separately to WBC. Email is not a secure document-upload portal, so do not email Social Security numbers, driver's-license data, medical or drug-testing information, or completed CDL paperwork. Résumés sent by email are kept in WBC's email. CDL application paperwork may contain additional regulated information and is handled offline.

Cookies

Data Retention
Contact, contractor, and delivery form submissions are sent to WBC by email; they are not stored in a website database. Each online employment application stored in our application system is assigned a deletion deadline 2 years after submission and is removed by an automated daily purge; copies in WBC's staff email are not part of that automatic deletion. Résumés emailed separately are kept in WBC's email. Analytics data is retained according to each third-party service's default retention period. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe.
