Deltana Door Hardware and Bathroom Accessories Deltana

Deltana door hardware gives homeowners and contractors pulls, stops and related pieces for fitting out doors. More than nine finishes across the hardware range give you options for matching the look of an existing project.

Deltana is an architectural hardware manufacturer. The company was founded in 1977. Its catalog includes solid brass hinges, door accessories and window hardware.

The range reaches beyond hinges: Deltana also offers pulls and plates, residential and commercial locks, and bathroom accessories, including a traditional solid brass collection with multiple finishes.

Pulls and door stops

Deltana’s door hardware includes round and oblong flush pulls, hinge-pin door stops and low-profile dome stops. With replacement pulls, the existing opening sets the job. Measure the recess and its depth for a flush pull, or the mounting-hole spacing for a surface-mounted pull. Then check that you can get a comfortable grip with the door in its actual operating position.

A door stop needs enough reach to stop the door before its lever or knob strikes the wall or trim. Its location and reach work together. Swing the door through its arc and establish the contact point before choosing the stop’s reach or mounting position.

Deltana also offers a handrail bracket.

Materials and finishes

Deltana uses solid brass, zinc, aluminum, steel and stainless steel. Choose the material for each piece before choosing its finish. For a finish match, compare an actual sample with the existing hardware in the room’s light, especially where the older pieces have worn or darkened.

Choose clearance once the fit, finish and quantity are settled: Deltana clearance sales are final and non-refundable, and the products are sold as-is without warranty coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right Deltana hinge?

For a replacement, match the hinge to the existing mortise so the leaf sits flush with the door edge. A poor fit can leave the door binding even when the hinge looks right. Deltana offers solid brass hinges, but the material alone doesn’t tell you whether a hinge suits your door.

Do I need an extension door stop?

You need the extra reach if a shorter stop lets the handle hit before the door meets the stop. Longer isn’t automatically better, because extra reach can also keep the door from opening as far as you need. Establish the stopping point with the door in its actual opening.

Will a Deltana flush pull fit the cutout already in my door?

The pull needs to fit the recess, not just cover its edges. A round flush pull can hide the opening and still be too deep to seat properly. Compare the replacement’s dimensions with the actual cutout before enlarging anything; a bigger opening makes returning to the old pull harder.

Will a Deltana hinge-pin stop work with my hinges?

A hinge-pin stop needs a compatible removable hinge pin, so it isn’t a universal fit. The pin needs to seat properly with the stop installed, and the door should swing freely until it reaches the stopping point. If the door binds before then, address the binding instead of adjusting the stop to hide it.
